I believe them, and I desperately want them to succeed -- no small feat for a first production. The small company at Profiles Theatre in Chicago is producing the world premiere of "Graceland," a deceptively simple play that recently extended its run through Aug. 16. more >>

What's new in books

It's summer, and let's be honest, you're feeling a bit lazy. Unless you're one of those types to undertake a "project" book over the summer, you might be looking for a little light reading while hanging out in Margaritaville. What's more delicious than a zany bridal caper? more >>

What Are You Reading?

"One of the neat things about Madison is that there are so many towering figures here who just go about their work. There's the jazz innovator Roscoe Mitchell.
