Country station Q106 expands into western Dane, Iowa counties

Madison's top-rated country music station is now broadcasting clearer in an area that seems to make a lot of sense: the country. Q106, WWQM-FM, expanded its coverage to western Dane County and Iowa County with a tower just over the county line. Update: Lines greet store debut of BlackBerry Storm, demand crashes online ordering system

Customers waited in line Friday morning to get their hands on the new BlackBerry Storm smartphone and many went home empty handed, Verizon Wireless reported. Overture Center laying off workers by year's end

Overture management informed employees in the last few days that they have no option but to cut staff, and that layoffs will happen before the end of the year.
