Chris Pounders, who couldn't seem to buy an 800 series at one time, fired the third of his career with an 826, Pat Laemmerich rolled an 805 with a perfect game and Scott Pickel also was perfect to highlight area bowling on Tuesday.

Pounders used his high-revving power game to churn out scores of 278, 289 and 259 in the Prairie Lanes NFL League.

Laemmerich opened with his second career perfect game, then added 268 and 237 in the Bowl-A-Vard Lanes Politically Incorrect League.

Pickel's second career perfect game came in a 757 series in the Dream Lanes Early Men's League.

Lauren Sammel led the women with 632 in the Bowl-A-Vard NFL League, edging Angela Nihles' 630 in the Village Lanes All-Star Co-Ed Classic League.
